Betty Pontious, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8th 2022. Betty spent all 91 years in St Louis and was an avid Cardinal fan. She was the widow of Harold D Pontious. She is survived by her brother Ray Fern (Yolanda), her sons and daughters-in-law Harold Jr (Lucy) and Larry (Elaine), grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Services: A visitation will be held at Hoffmeisters (1515 Lemay Ferry Rd) on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the same location on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 11am.
Betty was a long time SCORCC member, starting with the club in the early 1990s.
Betty served on many SCORCC committees, was a photographer for events, such as the Annual Christmas party, the fall picnics and others.
